Hi my name is Cody, I'm about a 1 1/2 years old and pretty darn handsome if I do say so myself! We're still learning about my personality, my likes and dislikes so we will update as soon as possible. Thanks for looking and keep checking in on me, I could be the one for you!
I love attention and getting my ears, nose and belly rubbed! I also have to say goodnight to the kids in
my foster home by giving them a big kiss every night at bedtime.
I am learning new things every day. I listen pretty well to basic commands; sit,
stay, and lay down but usually am too excited to do that very long. I guess I am still work in progress when I am
called and when my foster mom says to ‘heal’ but I am working on it. I love going for walks though. I am still
learning not to try to pull too far ahead on my walks but I do like to check
everything out on my way.
I am house trained. I will bark if someone is at the door or
I hear my foster family come home. I am kind of shy though so if anyone
actually comes in, I have to sit by my foster mom. I am really shy of new people so it will take
me a while to warm up to anyone new. I
love to eat also but I don’t do the table begging. I certainly can wait until afterwards. I do like to jump when I am excited so I will
need to work on that too.
One thing I do not like is riding in the car. I get very sick and will need a home where I
do not have to travel. I love the kids
in my foster home but have not been exposed to any under 5 years old so I don’t
know how I would do. I am very shy and
cautious of new people. Loud and new
noises scare me so it takes me time to warm up sometimes.
My foster family says I am a wonderful, loving dog and if
you are a little patient with me and my quirks, I would love you to be my
forever home.
