Meet Markie! Update on Markie. What a great boy! Had a rough start with kennel cough but has bounced back well. He loves being where people are, even if just sitting off to the side. He enjoys other dogs (big and small). Seems to pick up on cues from other dogs quickly. Does not show interest in cats but hasn't been around them much. Seems to be ok with kids. Fast learner! Can sit and lay down well. Does well in the kennel and tells you when he needs to go outside. Still has occasional accidents, but nothing abnormal for a puppy. He enjoys running around outside, playing tug-of-war and cuddling (he tends to snore). Markie is a true companion. He is looking forward to bringing laughs and love to someone who will give him a permanent home.

Prior to adoption Markie will be neutered, vaccinated, health checked, heatworm/lymes tested and microchipped

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
