Hello, my name is Chopper! I came from a shelter down in Tulsa Oklahoma all the way up to Minnesota. The shelters and rescues down there are very crowded and I am so excited that Happy Tails Rescue saved me and gave me a foster home to live in! I hope I find a family to give me all the love I could ever want, I would be so grateful!
Foster Pupdate: You're about to see the most handsome guy ever! Chopper is a 2 yr old Shar Pei mix! He loves to be around his people and is dog-friendly! He takes treats so gentle I think he takes them with his lips. He loves to snuggle and play! He is potty trained and kennel trained. If a cat hisses at him he will run away...otherwise he will chase. I think a home without cats would be best for this guy. He just wants to please you and be with his people!
Prior to adoption Chopper will be neutered, vaccinated, health checked, and microchipped.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
