 Hi there!  My name is Dinah!  I’m a very friendly young lady who loves to spend the day chasing my toy mice, napping in the sun, and snuggling with my foster parents! My favorite time of day is when we get to play with my fishing pole toy!  I get so excited, I run and leap and jump…but I just can never get that fish!!  My foster parents love to snuggle and pet me because my fur is so soft, just like a bunny!  I’m all purrs and hugs for people!   Since joining the Happy Tails family I have been working really hard to be in perfect health. I was diagnosed with a virus (called conjunctivitis) that occasionally causes me to sneeze, cough, and have watery eyes.  It has made one of my eyes partially clouded, but I am still a very pretty girl and it has not affected my vision at all!  The virus typically flares up only when I am stressed-out (like moving to a new home).  My doctor tells my foster parents that this is a non-life threatening virus that is easily treated with meds when it flares up.  It is not transferable to humans, but I could pass it on to other cats and dogs when it is in its active stage.  My foster parents love me and say I am the best kitty ever regardless of my eye problems! I am allowed to play with the other cats in my foster all the time and I just love them!  I have also been exposed to children and have done fine with them.  I really just like everyone and everything!

Note:  We have not exposed Dinah to dogs while in our care so we are not sure how she would do with them.

Happy Tails Rescue only adopts our dogs to people who live within a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities and only within the state of MINNESOTA due to our home visit requirement.
