Hi, my name is Ceasar and I'm about 1.5 - 2 years old—a playful dog with with plenty of energy. 

My foster family has two big labs that I get along with quite nicely.  I would like them to play a bit more with me but what can a handsome guy do?  I would do really well in a home with a fenced yard as I love to play.  If you are looking for someone to take on walks or runs and/or snuggle with in the evenings - I am your guy.  I did learn that a family that has cats would not be the best match for me (I am so tempted to chase them).
  
I walk nicely on a leash (mostly - I do love to jump around in the snow banks and play), sit on command, and I am working on learning other commands - or rather teaching my foster family to speak my language.  I am very well house trained and love snuggling with the family and the family dogs.  I am even gentle with puppies and am happy to help entertain them.  I love to play with toys and I learned I can play ball with myself when I bounce the tennis ball myself!  My foster family trusts me to be out of the kennel when they leave for their activities.  I am housetrained and I don't chew on anything that isn't a dog toy.  I do like to look out the windows and watch the squirrels.

I am very friendly with ALL people,   My foster family had a large group of people in the house for the holiday and I did really good with everyone - even the toddlers! 

One ear is up and one ear is down - adding to my appeal.  I am incredibly handsome and will make a great addition to your family.  My pictures don't do me justice and do not show off my best attributes.  I am looking for a family who will be my "people" forever!

Happy Tails Rescue only adopts our dogs to people who live within a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities and only within the state of MINNESOTA due to our home visit requirement.

 

Please understand that we are a small group of unpaid volunteers and don't have the resources to travel further than that.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
