Hi, my name is Gertrude but you can call me Gertie everyone does. I'm the the strong, silent type who doesn't bark and has wonderful house manners. I'm working on sit and stay and seems to be one smart cookie!
I enjoy the great outdoors and will stay outside even longer if accompanied by my foster mom. I get along well with the other dogs in the house and has even claimed one of the dog bed for her own.
Gertie will make a wonderful addition to a family, will that family be yours?

PLEASE NOTE: Happy Tails Rescue only adopts our dogs to people who live within a 60 mileradius of theTwin Cities and only within the state of MINNESOTA due to our home visit requirement.
Please understand that we are a small group of unpaid volunteers and don't have the resources to travel further than that.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
