I am just starting to get used to my new foster home but I am certainly loving it so far. There is a couple of other dogs for me to play with and they are keeping me hopping (literally) but that is only because the snow is deep and we like to chase each other around a little. They also have a big cat that I get along with although I think he thought 2 dogs were enough.
My foster family think I am closer to one years old than 2 since I am so curious about everything as well as being smart. All I need to do is pull on the leash and I get a walk in. I love shoes also. I don’t eat them, I just like to see them next to my bed. It’s just another fun thing I like to do. Since I love to play with toys, my foster family found out they need to be pretty tough around me since I like to chew them up if I can.
I am learning new things every day. I know what the ‘sit’ command is now and starting to figure out I can’t jump anytime I want to. Sometimes, I whine a little to be let out or if I am hungry or something. I don’t bark a lot.
I was a little skinny when I came to live here so my foster family is helping me to fatten up a little. They say I will make someone an amazing pet. I just love sitting next to my foster family as close as possible without jumping on the couch because I know I will get lots of good attention that way. They say I am quite intelligent and I am hoping to learn some other new tricks before my forever home finds me. I would be great with other animals and hope to find my forever home soon.
