Hi, my name is Maverick and I'm a 10 month old Yellow Lab. My previous person was no longer able to keep me so that is how I ended up with Happy Tails.

I'm in a foster home and doing great there with the kids (of all ages) and the two other Labs. I'm still learning the rules of the home but it's only been two days and I'm catching on very quickly! I'm a very smart boy who learns fast and is quite advanced for my age. My previous person hired a trainer and upon my adoption I will come with him as this is a life time commitment. I do walk nicely on a leash and know a couple basic commands. I'm very attentive when people are talking to me or about me and do this cute head tilt thing. I'm still a puppy so I have some energy and getting me to sit still long enough to take a really good picture is a bit of a challenge at this time. As soon as we get this mastered we'll be sure to post immediately. If I sound like a good fit for you and/or your family, please complete the pre adoption form and a volunteer will be in contact.
