Hello, my name is Ozzy and I'm a Shepherd mix. I'm about 1 year old and I'm a very sweet guy. I was adopted as a puppy from a shelter and now that I'm all grown up, the lady returned me to the shelter and told them her husband always hated me.

It really hurt my feelings because I tried so hard to be a good boy and do as I was told, but he just plain hated me.

Being the gentle soul that I am, I could never hate anyone, but I am a little shy at first. So now that I am here I need to find a forever home with a family who will love me to pieces and make me feel special like I deserve.

I love children and will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. I get along with other dogs and mostly just ignore the cats. I really like to be with my people and I'm not too fond of being all by myself, so it would be great if I had an owner who spent a lot of time at home or at least had another dog to keep me company while you are away.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
