Hi my name is Gertie! I am an independent lady who enjoys spending my day lounging about and napping. I do enjoy spending time with people, but I am not much of a lap cat. I also sit nicely to be brushed, which is good because my beautiful coat requires lots of care in order for me to look good. And because of my cute pushed up nose my face also need some special care, I need to have my face cleaned for me. But trust me I am totally worth it! I would love to be able to find a wonderful loving home to spend the rest of my years. For the first ten years of my life no one knows what my life was like, but I was not taken care of. Thankfully I was rescued and am now waiting for someone to take me to a good home.

PLEASE NOTE: Happy Tails Rescue only adopts our dogs to people who live within a 60 mileradius of theTwin Cities and only within the state of MINNESOTA due to our home visit requirement.
Please understand that we are a small group of unpaid volunteers and don't have the resources to travel further than that.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
