Meet Cruizer! Cruizer is an adorable Aussie mix looking for a family to call his own. He is approximately 6 months old and as sweet as can be. He is very friendly and loves people. He is looking for a family that is dedicated to training a puppy. He will need a family that can keep him active and give him the love and attention that he deserves. FOSTER UPDATE:
He's 30 pounds. He's a very sweet guy. He loves to be petted, and really loves his tummy rubs. If you stop petting him, he will jump on you, which we are working on. He just wants to be petted. He knows sit, and we are working on down, off and stay. He is generally quick to respond to corrections (as long as he's not in "play" mode), and he quickly is learning the rules of the house. Housetraining is in progress. He does well crated during the work day and at night. I do think any potential family should know a few things. First, he's generally good with kids as long as they are older. He thinks he can herd younger kids. Second, he's a very strong dog, and he can pull hard on the leash. We now have a harness type of collar for him because when he pulls, he wheezes very badly. We are working on walking on a leash, and when he settles down, he's much better. But any kind of excitement or distraction, and he's back to pulling.
Cruizer has been neutered, vaccinated, health checked, heartworm/lymes tested (negative) and microchipped

Good with Dogs
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
