Valentino is a Galah Cockatoo. It is believed that he is a male around 6 years old. He LOVES to talk. A few things he says are "pretty boy" "pretty bird" "Hi" "Come here"
He loves to get scritches on his head.  He has done a little wing plucking on the very top of his wings.
His owner died and he was left alone with him for days before his owner was found. Valentino was then brought to a local impound where he was in a back room by himself. He is quickly trusting his foster mom and they are making great progress. She says "He is a wonderful bird that will be a great addition to someone's flock."

Valentino is looking for a home with previous bird experince. Please do not apply if you do not have bird experience. His adoption will require a phone interview, referance check, vet check, home visit, and interview with Valentino. 

Adoption fee $500

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
