Cat Fosters Need -- Tuesday May 1st, 2012
Are you able to take in a cat for a little while until they find their forever home? If you can help out, please complete the online foster application on our website under forms and applications.

Santa at PetSmart -- Wednesday November 30th, 2011
Join Happy Tails at PetSmart for pet pictures with Santa. Happy Tails will be at PetSmart the first two weekends in December. Bring your pets, neighbor's pets and family to have their picture taken with Santa. For every picture purchased, Happy Tails will receive a portion of the proceeds on those days. Our schedule is as follows:
Dec 3rd and 10th: Maple Grove PetSmart and Dec 11th: Richfield PetSmart.

Adoption Day on Nov 12th -- Monday October 31st, 2011
Join Happy Tails on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 for our next Adoption Day. It will be held at the Maple Grove PetSmart from 11:00-1:30pm. We wold love to see you there!
Adoption Day Set: Oct 22 -- Wednesday October 5th, 2011
Adoption Day: October 22nd in Richfield. Come visit us. We will be there from 11:00am until about 2:00pm. We would love to see you!!!
Foster Need -- Saturday July 2nd, 2011
Foster homes desperately needed! All sizes, breeds, ages, etc... If
you can foster we will have a dog that will work! Many dogs in "jail"
waiting to get out! Thanks so much!!
Santa and Happy Tails -- Saturday December 4th, 2010
Happy Tails will be at Petsmart this weekend! Bring your pets in for their pictures with Santa. We will be at Maple Grove on Saturday from 11:00-4:00pm and Sunday at Richfield from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Happy Tails gets a portion for every photo taken. Looking forward to seeing you there. We will also be at Maple Grove on December 11 and Richfield on December 12th. Both days are 11:00 - 4:00pm.
Dog Fosters Needed -- Thursday April 29th, 2010
There are a large number of dogs available for rescue if we have more fosters. If you are able to foster, please contact Happy Tails at happy@tailsrescue.org.
No May Adoption Day -- Monday April 19th, 2010
We will NOT be holding an Adoption Day in May. Our next Adoption Day will be on June 12th in Richfield.
Foster Needed -- Wednesday March 17th, 2010
A couple of fosters are needed for 2 dogs- German Shepherd mix. One of the dogs is Romeo and you can see his information on the Happy Tails website. He does need a home without cats. The other dog is new to Happy Tails Rescue and you can get more information on him by emailing us at happy@tailsrescue.org.
We also now have several puppies that need fosters. Please contact us if you are interested.
Happy Tails Adoption Day -- Saturday February 13th, 2010
Come join Happy Tails at Richfield PetSmart on Saturday, February 13, 2010. The Adoption Day will be held in conjunction with PetSamrt Charities National Adoption Weekend. The National Adoption Weekends are held to encourage adoptions of the many homeless pets. Happy Tails will be there from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Please join us and see some of the pets up for adoption. Pictures with Santa -- Sunday December 20th, 2009
This is Happy Tails last day at Petsmart for this years Pictures with Santa. We will be at the Maple Grove PetSmart on Sunday, December 20th from 11:00am - 4:00pm. Bring in your pets for that special Holiday photo opp!!! Also, don't forget to do your searching online at Igive.com. For everyone online search, Happy Tails will receive 2 cents. Its an easy way to get the information you are looking for while providing a donation to Happy Tails Rescue.

Poodle Mix needs Foster -- Saturday December 12th, 2009
Happy Tails Has 2 dogs that need a foster as soon as possible. Both are poodle mix. One is a male,neutered, and 1-2years.
Weighs: 19.4 lbs
The 2nd dog is a female poodle mix, spayed, about 2 years old. She weighs about 13.2 lbs.

#3 As part of the PetSmart Charities, you can also donate at the register when making purchases through the Wish Tree event. The event runs through December 2009. You can select a tent card with donations of $1, $5 $10, or $20. If your donation is made on the days that Happy Tails is there, that donation will go directly to Happy Tails Rescue. We will be at Richfield on the 5th, 12th, and 13th participating in the Santa Claws event as well as in Maple Grove on December 20th.

Happy Tails Rescue Adoption Days, September 12th and 13th!!
Come and visit with the Happy Tails Rescue dogs and cats at PetSmart this weekend.
In conjunction with PetSmart Charities Adopt-a-Thon Weekend, Happy Tails Rescue will be on site at the Richfield PetSmart on Saturday and at the Maple Grove PetSmart on Sunday.
On Saturday, you can meet our adoptable dogs; Hannah, Alfie, Jack and maybe more. We will also be showing off some of our adoptable cats and kittens.
On Sunday, you can visit with our dogs; Sookie, Maya, Otis, Tugger and Eli. Our cats; Snowflake, Abbey and Comet will be looking for their forever home also.

Help Chico and Homer... -- Wednesday January 21st, 2009
Chico, Homer and Happy Tails Rescue could use your help to raise the funds needed to cover Chico and Homer's surgeries. Chico came to us as an owner surrender. He had previously been rescued from an abusive situation and has had a couple homes since then through no fault of his own. Hopefully that is all in the past. He has had his hip surgery and is recovering nicely in his foster home. Homer came to us from a local animal control facility and is in need of a Femoral Head Ostectomy surgery to remove the ball of his femur bone which is broken off. The surgery is scheduled for Jan 22. Help Chewy -- Thursday October 2nd, 2008
Chewy and Happy Tails Rescue could use your help to raise the funds needed to cover Chewy's veterinary care. Chewy came to us from a local animal control. We new he had nasty ear infections, so bad they make his ears stick out, but that is the least of his troubles. Chewy also has to be treated for Heartworm disease and Lymes disease. He also is underweight, and needs to put on a few pounds. Everyone who has met him says he is a wonderful dog, so sweet and friendly! Pepper Update -- Friday June 27th, 2008
Pepper finally had his FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery on June 24. The vet says it went very well and it's all fun and games from here for our 'Little Man' (as his fosters have been calling him). Well, he does have a recovery period first, but soon it will be all fun and games and boy is he ready for it. All in all, he is doing great and he has a wonderful family waiting to take him home. Help Pepper... -- Wednesday June 11th, 2008
Pepper is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, June 19 (was scheduled for the 12th, but due to diarrhea starting the night before surgery, had to be postponed) to repair a broken femur in his left rear leg. Pepper is just 3 months old and his owners, not able to afford the surgery, were going to have him euthanized. Lucky for Pepper, his owners took him to a Happy Tails vet who contacted us to see if we could take him into our program. Pepper is not only adorable, but he is super sweet and very very smart. Dog Bite Prevention -- Saturday May 17th, 2008
