Hi, my name is Lucy and I'm about 8 years old. I'm house and kennel trained. My foster mom says I am a sweet little girl. I'm a little shy at first, but that only lasts a week! I like to climb up on your chest while youre sitting and snuggle my head into your neck. I love a good back scratch and I have this silly way of begging for food. I do a John Candy version of the dance to "maniac" in the movie Tommy Boy and it's one of the funniest things you'll ever see. I only bark when someone comes to the door otherwise I'm quite mellow. I love to lounge around and get some petting and attention. I live with other dogs, but I'm not into playing with them. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard as I'm not a fan of taking care of my business on a leash... I will make someone a great little family member! Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
