Meet Dakota! This gorgeous sweet girl was scared in Texas and is now learning to come out of her shell in Minnesota to find the perfect home for her!
Foster pupdate! Hi! My name is Dakota. I'm shy girl that came from Texas. I'm learning that people aren't so scary, so my future family needs to have patience while I get used to them. I love other dogs and have a blast chasing a foster sister around outside. Some of my favorite things are walks or jogs, watching the world outside on car rides, window watching for squirrels, and playful dog friends. My foster mom says I'm very good in the car, by the way! I do well in my crate when she's gone at work, I even go right in to it when she grabs her stuff to leave. My foster mom thinks I'd probably be fine as an only dog but having a dog friend to show me the ropes will be the best ever.
Prior to adoption, they will be altered, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
