This is Queenie! She is a beautiful 2 year old pittie mix girl that weighs 60lbs. She was heavily pregnant and in a high kill shelter in risk of euthanasia in Oklahoma. As you can see, her ears were crudely cropped by whoever she had been living with.
She had all of her babies in a foster home and was a very excellent mother! They were all adopted so now it is her turn!
One of her favorite things is to romp around in a kiddie pool filled with water, she always gets the zoomies!
Queenie is a very well tempered easygoing gentle soul who always seems to have a serious look on her face. But don't let that fool you! She is an incredibly happy lady. She is good with other dogs and kids. She has done very well in her foster home and in the car.
She does great with peopleof all ages and dogs of all sizes - but she is not a fan of felines, so needs a cat free home.
Prior to adoption, they will be altered, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
