Riley is a sweet girl who is about two years old and still has a lot of puppy energy. She pays close attention to her people and likes to play with other dogs. When we took her to the dog park, she found a running mate and they raced around for fifteen or twenty minutes. She learned the house rules for going potty fairly quickly (we have a dog door) and is good on a leash. She also likes to take food wherever she finds is. She almost always has something in her mouth and she really likes squeaky toys but soft toys that can be reduced to little balls of fabric are fun too.

Riley does seem to take longer to warm up to men. However, once she is comfortable with someone, she wants to be with them all the time.

Riley is ready for a home where she can play and then nap at her person’s feet.

Prior to adoption I will be  vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
