from the foster: Cappy is a sweet, curious and energetic girl! She is a labrador retriever mix, about 40 lbs and is estimated to be about 2 years old. She enjoys playing fetch and her favorite toys are the stuffies with squeakers! She's starting to become more of a cuddler and she'll be your best buddy because she likes to follow us around the house! For the most part Cappy does well on the leash, but she will start to pull when she sees another dog or squirrel! She is good with kids and Cappy has proven to be good with other dogs that are her size or larger. She gets really excited to see other dogs and wants to play with them! Some smaller dogs have not responded well with Cappy because her playful energy might come off as a little bossy to them. This girl is excited to find a great forever home!
Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.

Good with Dogs
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
