Hello, it’ nice to meet you.

My name is Dino.

I am much to humble to tell you myself, but my foster mom says I have to tell you, that I am the perfect gentleman. She also says that I am old enough “to know better” – (therefore well behaved), but am very young acting, and full of gentle fun.

But, after the playing (I am not too humble to share this part…) I am a champion napper. I practice every day. Long, deep, snoring naps. And to show my daily progress towards keeping my title, at night I sleep in the middle of the bed and snore.

I appreciate the love and cuddles and repay the gestures in my own doggy ways.

I am a diligent watch dog. Every time I return home from an outing, I “clear” the house police style, going through each and every room to be sure my family is safe. I do not bark unnecessarily, but when I do bark, it is deep and can be a bit scary (to scare away bad guys, I never bark or growl at my family).

My yard has a privacy fence around it, and my best friend lives on the other side of it. We have soooo much fun running up and down our own sides of the fence together. He is younger, so he barks a lot while we play. But, being a bit older, I know that can be annoying to humans, so I restrain myself.

Right from the beginning my foster mom explained that she was in town for a few weeks to clean out her mom’s house and did not like being lonely in the house, so she brought me home. We both needed the love. And, she promised to help me find my forever home. She told me that my family is out there just waiting for me. I can’t wait to meet them and get to know them. I have so much love to share, it just oozes out of me.

If you are in the market for a gentleman dog, I’d love to meet you, to see if you are my forever human(s).

Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and microchipped.

Adoption Fee $200 +taxes/fees

If you would like to meet me please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.tailsrescue.org

More about Dino

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
