This is Baby girl. I’m helping the St James animal control find a permanent home for Babygirl. She is currently being fostered in St James and needs a home. She had an adopter that didn’t ever come through. She’s a very good girl, but fights with SOME dogs and doesn’t back down no matter the size , she has a muzzle for introductions, and gets along better with male dogs and super chill dogs, She would be good as an only pet. She spent 4 weeks with positive reinforcement training with Ram Riezel who says she’s very sweet, attention is what she craves more than food. He’s had her in play groups, but cautioned to use the muzzle first to determine who she gets along with. She has a leather custom fitted muzzle, and is muzzle and crate trained. She is not at all human aggressive. The AC foster emphasize s what a good girl she is, kennel trained, will do what you ask her to, and extremely affectionate. She’s little , 25 or 30 lbs . Adorable little Pitt mix.
I should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals like chickens.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
