Billie Jean is an all around awesome little doggie. Housetrained. Well-behaved. Quiet in her crate. Likes to relax and snooze in it when the door is open. Likes to burrow under the covers and is a great cuddler. Has a super cute curly tail wag. Delightfully non-reactive to and friendly with other dogs including when another dog in a yard or on a leash starts barking at her. Easy to walk on a leash. She is shy and needs slow introductions, but she started to warm up to me the first day I had her. She is slowly becoming more confident around new people. She is curious about them even though she’s not ready to have them pet her. Does great with resident kitties. Was good with the grandkids of her former owner, who gave Billie Jean up because she (the former owner) is losing her sight and was afraid she wouldn’t be able to take care of her pets.
Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
