Shelby is about 9 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. She is believed to be a lab mix but most likely has LOTS of different breeds in her!
Shelby is such a great dog. Her foster calls her "the busy bee", because she always has to be in all the business. She settles right down and loves to just sit next to you for love and pets. She loves water, whether it’s in the kiddie pool or the spraying hose. She loves all toys. Gets along with all dogs and cats, but will sometimes chase them. She is quiet in her kennel unless it’s an emergency and she has to go out to go potty. She keeps her kennel dry both day and night. She loves to go for walks, but does pull a little bit. Nothing some training won't fix! And... if that is her biggest flaw, we will take it!

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
