Hello my name is Mickey. I am a beautiful and very sweet Maltese. I love to lay on your lap or by your side. I like to play with you and shake big stuffed animals. I also like to play with dogs my size but am a bit nervous around big dogs. I walk nicely on a leash, ride well in the car and like to go for rides. I'm not a big fan of being left alone, but do okay in an appropriate sized kennel. If you have the ability to administer my medications/drops every few hours and continue to work with an opthamologist to try and find medications that will work please complete our Pre-Adoption Application and a volunteer will be in touch.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
