Sweet Pete! That's what my foster mom calls me. I'm a little shy at first, but rub the top of my head, and I melt like butter. It only takes a few seconds of petting for me to warm up to a kind person with a big heart. I was picked up as a stray and am now looking for my forever home. I will need someone to show me what life is all about in a home where there are warm beds and warm hearts, as I have never had that before. Won't you be the one to show me how wonderful life is supposed to be for such a deserving feline?!

Note: We have not exposed Peter to children while in our care, so we are not sure how he would do with them.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
