Hi my name is Guido … and I am a miracle cat! When Happy Tails first saw me at Animal Control they thought maybe I was dragged behind a car I looked so bad. I was really beaten up and no one but me knows the trauma I went through. But I'm all healed up (very nicely I might add) and ready for a new positive journey down life's path. I have recently been moved into a very loving foster home. My new foster parents say that the two toddlers are a little TOO loving at times (something about cats don't want blankets being put on them), but I don't mind. I love to be around people, and I can be a good boy when you go out too. I enjoy cuddling in your lap all night or just playing around and be silly! I am also proud to say that I am a very neat cat. I know when I get into a new home I have to go looking for my litter box, and I don't shed very much at all. My foster family says that nobody can go wrong by adopting me!

Special Needs: When Guido first came into AC the vet thought that he might lost his left eye it was so bad. His eye is completely cleared up, but he might need to stay on eye meds the rest of his life. The latest update from the vet is that his eye is doing so well that he may not need eye drops any longer, so we are hopeful that this goes Guido's way! But either way, it's a small price to pay for such a wonderful guy.
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
