Gertie
Gertie

We adopted Gertie in June 2007. I just wanted to update you on how great she is doing and what a wonderful addition she has made to our family. When we adopted her we were told by her foster parents that she was quiet as a mouse. Well, she has DEFINITELY found her voice and is “singing” frequently with our other beagle/basset hound mix Lulu. The two girls get along splendidly, almost like they were made for each other. Gertie is still timid playing with toys with mommy and daddy but she will raise holy havoc with Lulu. She has a glowing bill of health from the vet. And the nieces and nephews that come to visit adore her. She is soooo very gentle and patient with them. Although Gertie is a little timid on walks around the neighborhood, she and Lulu OWN the big backyard and make it known that this is their turf. Heaven forbid a squirrel, pigeon, cat, etc. comes in the yard. Everytime they are outside their little tails are going a mile a minute. I just wanted to share this with you and thank you for all the work you do. Gertie brings a smile to our face every day and she keeps Lulu’s tailing wagging constantly. (added 1/28/08)

GinGin
GinGin

Dear Happy Tails Rescue, at the beginning of November (07), we brought home a beautiful tabby kitten, named "Gin-Gin," from your rescue. She has won the hearts of our entire family. We have renamed her Mi-In, which is Korean for "Beauty." She joins our seven year-old Sheltie (from MN sheltie rescue) named Wynda, and our seven year-old tabby, named Sin-Sa, who was a stray kitten found on a friend's farm. Thank you for the wonderful work that you do... Kay C. Update 4/28/08: Mi-In, is doing well and is getting big. She is nine pounds. Her new favorite toy is a catnip stuffed banana. She was so happy last week when it was warm and we had the windows open. She got very excited when she heard the birds chirp. She loves sitting by the window, watching the birds in the feeder. Sometimes she chatters. Thank you again for your wonderful organization and helping us bring her into our furry family, Kay
