Meet Dusty! Dusty is a super friendly playful pup who is very well balanced between mellow and energetic and would love a family who keeps him active with a yard to play in. He is kind of a cat chaser, but he's never aggressive he just wants to play with them. He is house trained and crate trained. Sometimes he doesn't want to go in his crate but he still cooperates and doesn't make a peep once he gets in. He only barks in the morning when he wants to come out to go to the bathroom. He taps on the door with his paw to let me know he needs to go out, he would prefer a home where he doesn't spend long days in the kennel, 6 hours or less would be best. He is a cuddler and is great with other dogs. He makes walks super easy and fun. He is a chewer so he needs chew toys all the time or he might get himself into trouble. He warms up to new people right away and just wants his belly scratched. He falls right asleep if you rub his head. He knows how to sit and lay down, he rarely jumps on people, still working on come. He's really sweet and lovable.

Prior to adoption, Dusty will be neutered, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Good with Dogs
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
