Penny Lou is the sweetest hound dog ever. She is fine with kids, cats, and dogs. She loves attention and loves people(including kids/toddlers). She is very gentle with little kids, kittens, small dogs- and she will play a little with the bigger dogs but is not a super hyper/hard player. She would be content with a slower paced walk where she can use her nose to explore.
She is a total cuddle bug and a nice medium size around 35 lbs.
If you are looking for a sweet medium sized hound - Penny might be your girl.
She seems to know to potty outside and has not had an accident in the house. She is not a huge fan of the cold but she will run into the yard to her business and come right back to the door. She is a pretty calm girl and will sit and cuddle with you for an entire movie.
Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432.We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
