My name is Harper and I am very pretty great dane. True to the breed I am a gentle giant. I am a little shy- but a total sweetie and I love lounging on the couch

UPDATE:
Harper is a very sweet & gentle giant of a dog. She is timid initially. I was able to earn her trust after a few hours. 

Once trust was achieved, Harper became a velcro dog with me. 

 

Once Harper discovered the sofa, it quickly became her favorite spot in which to lounge. She really liked when I would sit with her on the sofa as she would lie her head on my lap. Harper also enjoyed going on walks, playing with our dogs & going to the dog park.  Despite her large size, Harper walked well on the leash. 

 

Harper is fully potty trained & crate trained (as long as the crate is big enough). Harper is showing  good signs of gaining confidence (i.e.  playing with toys, other dogs, becoming vocal when excited & ceased feeling the need to follow me everywhere). 

 

Whoever adopts Harper will get a special dog. They will just need to be patient & give time to earn her trust.

Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
