Hi I am Sable a 7 month old female lab mix! I had a late start in my social skills I reacted very poorly to people and dogs because I was so insecure and unsocialized. I have worked real hard at gaining my confidence through training and going every where with foster mom! I didn't even know how to jump up into the car or into the bed I am still working on that. Foster mom said I'll get better at that the more confidence I gain! I now absolutely love dogs and people if they approach me calmly. I have become a very playful puppy, I love toys and to play keep away with the kids. I have learned sit, wait, down, off, leave it (although it is so attempting to want to ignore that one) and I am learning to shake! I love kids but would prefer to have older kids just because my energy level and size tends not to work well with the little ones. My new family definitely needs to keep me in training and learn how to work with me since I am still a little insecure. I have been working with these great trainers at Your Dogs Best Friend which I would love if my new family continued with them since I trust them. I am happily waiting for my new forever family!

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
