Bella

Just a quick note to let you know how Brook formerly Bella is doing. Brook joined our family 5 weeks ago. Brook is a much loved member of our family. Brook loves playing with her adopted sister Sky (black and white) . Sky and Brook are both Shih Tzu and the same age. Brook also loves our cat River. River is constantly being licked by Brook, and then Brook tries to get River to play with her. River is 10 years old and really just wants to groom Brook and Sky, instead of playing their games. Brook is still working on house training, but has gotten better. Brook and Sky enjoy their big fenced back yard that they can play chase, when it is not that cold out. Buster

Hello Happy Tails Staff: Buster has been doing really well in dog obedience at the Humane Society and has progressed to level 2. He is also quite a hit at Yappy Hour, a Friday night dog event at the Humane Society in Golden Valley. He walks really well on his leash with very little pulling and most people don't notice he just has three legs because he walks so well. He is quiet as can be at home and doesn't bark at all so he is quite a star in our neighborhood. We are so delighted that Buster has entered our lives and wanted you to know how much we appreciate him. Best wishes to all, Pat & Carl N. and Buster

Bella

It has been a month since we adopted Bella. She is really a nice little dog. Penny and Bella are getting along well. They like to play together and run around the back yard. It didn't take Bella long to get used to the morning walk or sleeping on the bed - the first night she made herself comfortable and slept all night long. Two dogs on the bed at night, there's hardly room for us! She's starting to play with the stuffed animals and chewing on nylon bones. She is a little jumpy as she doesn't like to be picked up, and she is dog aggressive if she sees another dog on our walk, so we are working on those things. The Raymond Family

Bailey

My wife and I had the chance to rescue a dog this past week. He is a 5 year old male Beagle named Bailey. We met Bailey at the Richfield Pets Smart on Saturday Jan. 12th and really fell for him. Later that day we became the proud parents of Bailey. We have had a lot of fun getting to know Bailey and our Brittany Coco has slowly taken to him also and they are starting to respect and play with each other. This is the first time that we have adopted a dog, we usually have gotten puppies. Working with the people at Happy Tails was a real pleasure and they do this from the kindness of their hearts. I thank them for giving us the chance to give Bailey a good home he is such a nice boy, he is so well behaved. Rick & Diane

Bonnie

Happy Tails: I'm having such a good time in my new home. There are two other bassetts here and we are having so much fun. I've been a very good girl, no problems at all. I love running around in my back yard with my new brother and sister. One time we came in with really muddy feet, so now my mom wipes them before we come in the house.. It was no big deal , she told me it wasn't my fault!!! They have a toy box that I empty at least two times a day... it's a blast! I'm adjusting just fine for only being here a short amount of time. We go for a lot of rides in the car.. all three of us! Thanks Happy Tails for finding me a great forever home! I will send some pictures of my new family soon. Love, Bonnie
